Our names are Cari and Miles, and we own Slv Apothecary, a small local grocery store in the heart of the San Luis Valley. Our mission is to support our community by buying products from other local businesses, specializing in herbal medicine, and hosting classes that help people learn and connect. Slv Apothecary has always been a place where neighbors can find healthy options and discover new ways to care for themselves and their families.
Recently, business has been slow and we’ve seen fewer customers coming through our doors over the past months. On top of that, we’ve faced the cost to upgrade our grocery license to include a deli license, allowing us to open our commercial kitchen to other local chefs who can offer healthy gluten free to-go options and premade meals. Right now, we’re struggling to pay our employees, keep up with our bills, and we haven’t been able to restock the products our customers rely on. It’s been a challenging time, but we’re determined to keep serving the San Luis Valley community.
We’re asking for your help to get us through this rough patch. The funds raised will go directly toward restocking our shelves, paying our bills, upgrading our grocery license to a deli license, and making sure our employees are taken care of. Any support you can give will help us keep Slv Apothecary open and continue being a resource for our neighborhood. Thank you so much for considering a donation and for supporting local businesses like ours.
