Support Slawek's Recovery

Dear friends,

Our Tata, Slawek, was in an ice climbing accident on 12/14 while hiking in the Mount Washington area (https://www.concordmonitor.com/Ice-climber-fall-New-Hampshire-NH-58484037). He is currently in the ICU and is receiving tremendous care from the trauma center team. Slawek has broken ribs, fractured vertebrae in his neck, a severe concussion among other injuries. All that and yet he is still our Superman pulling through critical but stable condition, and getting better everyday.

We are hoping that our community will come together to support Slawek during what will be a long journey of healing ahead. Donations will go towards medical bills, hotel costs for the out of state stay for his family, to support him and his wife while out of work, as well as proceeds to benefit the amazing Androscoggin Valley Search and Rescue (AVSAR) team that helped bring him to safety.

We are all truly blessed to have such an amazing support system and thank you for your help in this challenging time. And we all know that Slawek will be running a marathon again as soon as he is healed (and as soon as Justyna will let him)
