Hello all. My name is Marley, and I am raising funds for my stepdad, Slate's, medical bills.

Over the past five years, my stepdad has faced more medical challenges than most people face in a lifetime. From chronic health conditions to surviving five strokes and two minor heart attacks, to countless hospital stays, he has endured it all with quiet strength and resilience. Most recently, just a month ago, he underwent open-heart surgery and had a pacemaker implanted - a major procedure that we hoped would be the turning point in his journey to healing.

Unfortunately, during recovery, he developed a serious blood infection - a dangerous complication that now requires yet another surgery. This has been physically and emotionally exhausting for him, and incredibly difficult on our family.

As you can imagine, the financial burden is overwhelming. Between mounting medical bills, extended hospital stays, and numerous medications, our resources are stretched beyond what we can manage alone.

With a heavy heart but hopeful spirit, I am asking for any support you can give to help us cover the costs of his ongoing treatment and recovery.
