Keahna Slater and family suddenly lost her father, Kendall, on Wednesday, 2/28, to complications from pneumonia, leaving behind two wonderful daughters, a bonus daughter, and a handful of adorable grandchildren.

During this trying time, when all she should be doing is focusing on laying him to rest and reminiscing on the beautiful life he lived, she's having to battle with life insurance due to an unfortunate denial based on pre-existing conditions they chose now to validate. Some costs are covered, but there are so many others that need to be considered as well. Any contribution will go a long way in giving this family some closure.
