Hi, I'm Sky, she/her. I recently started transitioning and things have been coming along, but quite suddenly I need to change the gender marker and name on some documents, as you can probably understand. I was planning on saving up for it but it looks like I'm out of time.

The fees I'm hoping to cover are

Name Change = $388

+ Cook County publication cost (they make you announce it in a paper so as not to "trick" anyone) = $90

Birth Certificate = $15

Passport = $60 (expedited)

I'm sorry that I have to ask and I'm very grateful for any help I can get, this is very important and like so many things, it's overdue. I just want to get past this as soon as I can. I love you
