Hello, my name is Valeria and I’m attempting to raise money for my cat’s medical bills. Sky is 4 years old and struggles with asthma. He’s been a key part of my family for the past 4 years now. Ever since he joined our family back in 2021, he’s brought smiles to our faces. He was such a silly cat with his random bursts of energy and his little chirps. Over time, he became sick, which has changed the way he acts a lot. He has his good days but on his bad days he struggles to be that same energetic cat. He’ll spend most of the day laying down, sleeping, and constantly wheezing. Earlier this year, we took him to the vet and he got diagnosed with asthma. I was able to cover a bit of the bills, but if it wasn’t for help, I wouldn’t have been able to afford his care. He was okay for a while, but more recently, his asthma started acting up again. He was originally on steroids, but those started to affect his muscle mass, which has effectively made him weaker. It sucks and hurts to see him struggle and be in pain constantly. This time around, he’s going to need to use an inhaler, which is pricier. It’s more than $100 a month per inhaler. This, plus the constant vet check-ups and expenses with tests and exams, adds up. I’m the one in charge of his medical expenses and just his expenses in general. I’m just a high school student, which means I really can’t afford it.
