Hi, my name is Parris McKnight, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and hopeful spirit.

On July 11, 2025, our 1-year-old son, Skyler McKnight, was diagnosed with B-cell leukemia. What we thought was just a few days of fever and fatigue turned into every parent’s worst nightmare. Now, Skyler is in the fight of his life—and so are we.

Skyler is the youngest of our six children. He is our sunshine—always smiling, full of life, and the heart of our home. This diagnosis has shaken our entire family, especially as we already face major health challenges: two of Skyler’s siblings are living with sickle cell disease, which requires ongoing care and attention.

We are fighting every day to stay strong and keep Skyler surrounded by love, care, and hope. We know he’s a warrior, and we’re standing behind him as #TeamSkylerStrong.
