And to those that don't know me, I'm Sammi.

I’m a single mom to a beautiful almost 3-year-old little girl, Skyler Rae. Since leaving a difficult situation when she was just a month old, I’ve worked hard to give her a safe and loving home. Until recently, her father and I shared joint custody, but due to recent events I am now in the process of becoming Skyler’s full-time caregiver. She is truly my whole world, and my priority is making sure she has the stability and protection she deserves.

Recently, an unexpected and very serious situation has put me in a place where I need to take time off work to protect and provide for Skyler. Without going into all the details, I am in the process of pursuing full custody a second time around to make sure she has the safe and stable home she needs. This requires me to miss work for court, paperwork, and appointments—which means I won’t be receiving my full paycheck during this time.

As a single mom, every paycheck matters, and right now the weight of rent, bills, and daily needs feels overwhelming. I’m heartbroken, exhausted, and humbled to ask for help, but this support would give me the stability to focus on securing a safe future for Skyler without the constant fear of falling behind financially.
