Our beloved Skyler Metts is currently in critical condition in the ICU at UVA. This has been an incredibly sudden and heartbreaking time for his family, friends, and everyone who knows and loves him. Skyler is a devoted father to three beautiful girls and a loving fiancé to Shauna. He is the heart of his family — always putting his loved ones first, working hard, and providing as the main source of income for their household.

Right now, as he fights for his life, his family is facing not only emotional devastation but also overwhelming financial uncertainty. With Skyler unable to work, the weight of medical expenses, household bills, and caring for three young daughters has placed an unimaginable burden on Shauna and the girls. They should be focused on being by his side and supporting his recovery — not worrying about how they will make ends meet.
