Support Skye's Final Semester

My name is Skye McGovern, and for as long as I can remember, I have always strived to maintain my independence, working hard and doing everything I can to support myself. I've always believed that through dedication and perseverance, good things will come, and I have held on to that belief throughout the years. However, I now find myself in a difficult situation that I never anticipated.

Currently, I am pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Homeland Security and a Minor in Legal Studies. This is my final year as a Senior, and I am so close to achieving my goal of graduating. Unfortunately, as I approach the finish line, I am confronted with a financial challenge that I cannot overcome on my own. The Financial Aid Office has informed me that I must pay a minimum of $10,000 before I can register for my final semester.

Up until now, I have been diligently applying for loans and waiting for the approval of my Parent Plus Loan, but, sadly, both have been declined. With the semester deadline just a week away, I find myself in a deeply stressful and uncertain position, facing a potential setback in my educational journey.

I understand that the past year has been challenging for all of us, and I am aware that everyone has their own struggles. It is not easy to ask for help, and it is with a heavy heart that I am reaching out to you today. If there is any way you can assist me, whether through a direct contribution or by helping to share this message with others who may be able to offer support, it would mean the world to me. No amount is too small, and every bit of help will bring me one step closer to my dream.

My ultimate goal is to work as a federal agent, specializing in the fight against sex trafficking and terrorism. I am committed to making a positive difference in the world, and completing my education is a crucial step toward achieving this aspiration. I remain hopeful that, with a little assistance, I will be able to finish my degree and continue on this path.
