Support Skye and Noel's New Comedic Play!

Hello friends and family!

We- Skye Hodgkin and Noel Nieczyporowicz- are the creators of a new play titled Good to See Ya! It's a two-woman comedy about a pair of old friends moving to New York City to pursue their dreams— only to be stopped in their tracks by the sneaky rats of the city! It's a hilarious story of friendship, creative dynamics, and explores what two people are willing to do in search of their Legacy.

We are seeking financial help from YOU to help add set pieces, costumes, and props to this new work! We will be workshopping this play in front of an audience in early November at Wright State University's Student Directing Lab. As two BFA Acting Majors at WSU, playwriting and creative exploration are a major part of our education, and we are beyond grateful for access to a theatrical space for this new work. That being said, beyond permission to use the theatre, we are completely self-funded. Paying for technical help, set pieces, personalized costumes, and prop collection comes straight out of our pockets. Any donation will be a huge help in getting this play on its feet for the first time. As two broke college students, we thank you in advance.

The idea for this play was born almost a year ago, when Skye and Noel decided they wanted to use their love for absurd and improvisational comedy to create a play specifically designed for the two of them. It's been a dream to bring this play to its feet! Skye and Noel’s characters, Marjorie and Loretta, are best friends in the play… but Noel and Skye are also best friends in real life. Comedic partners, Skye and Noel hope that this project is just the first in a long line of comic collaborations. Rehearsals started a couple of weeks ago, and each evening has been filled with laughter, joy, and excitement to share this play. We have something really special here.
