Support Sky Through Cancer Treatment

I am reaching out on behalf of our dear friend Fahan Sky McDonagh from Florida, who is currently facing a significant challenge.

In late December 2023, she was diagnosed with breast cancer following a series of tests, including a second mammogram, a biopsy, and an MRI. This diagnosis has led to overwhelming medical expenses for surgeries and other treatments, which have exceeded her financial capabilities.

Sky is an amazingly talented glass artist. If you are an artist or musician you know that getting good health insurance on an artists salary is a huge challenge and although Sky has insurance that she has purchased, it doesn't cover much.

Sky is an amazing person and friend who has always gone the extra mile for anyone who asks and is certainly deserving of support. She is super kind, talented and rarely asks for help from anyone. Now is our chance to help her.

The treatment process has been extensive and costly, involving a partial mastectomy, radiation, and ongoing medication to prevent cancer recurrence, with radiation treatments alone costing over $30,000.

As a glass artist without good insurance, Sky is struggling with high medical costs, copays, and maxed-out credit cards, all of which is now also impacting her mental health and ability to heal.

To manage these challenges, Karen and I have started this GoFundMe campaign to help cover her treatment costs. Your generous contribution will allow her to focus on recovery and fighting this battle with all her strength. Every donation helps and is deeply appreciated during this difficult time.
