This is really hard to write, but I’m reaching out because our Sky Estrella has been diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) — a spinal condition that’s caused her to lose mobility in her back legs.

If you know me, you know how much I love my dogs. We’ve been so careful over the years: ramps all over the apartment, never letting her jump, always picking her up the right way. She’s truly my baby, and I’ve done everything I can to protect her long little back.

But sometimes, even when you do everything right, IVDD still happens. It’s heartbreaking to see her struggle, and the only real option to give her a chance at walking again is spinal surgery. The cost is overwhelming, but I’m determined to do whatever I can to give her the life she deserves.

If you’re able to donate or share, it would mean everything to us. Sky Estrella still has so much life and love to give, and we just want to see her chasing after her Lamb Chop and cuddling on her own terms again.
