I’m reaching out to you to ask for your help to raise funds for Alyssa Inskip, who recently experienced a life-altering event. Alyssa was involved in a serious car crash that left her with a fractured jaw and several other intense injuries. As she begins her journey to recovery, she faces significant medical expenses and the urgent need for a reliable vehicle to aid her rehabilitation.

**The Accident:**

On December 13th, Alyssa was on her way back to Reno from San Diego to be with family and work events over the holidays before returning back to San Diego. In an instant, her life changed dramatically. While traveling outside of Hawthorne at approximately 70mph, an animal ran out in front of her car causing her to lose control. Combined with low visibility while driving at night and heavy winds, Alyssa ended up flipping her MINI Cooper. Strangers on the scene called an ambulance which took her to the nearest hospital roughly 40 minutes from the scene. Upon crashing, the airbags failed to deploy resulting in significant injuries to herself and her car being completely totaled. Additionally, many personal belongings were destroyed in the accident. The injuries she sustained not only require medical treatment but also affect her ability to work and live her daily life. The vibrations from her mom’s car driving to and from her doctor appointments causes severe pain. Insurance isn’t covering her claim since another vehicle was not involved.

**The Medical Needs:**

Alyssa is currently facing:

- A fractured jaw

- Dental procedures to fix her teeth

- Stitches

- Ongoing physical therapy to regain her strength

- Lost personal belongings in crash

These medical bills paired with the loss of her car and inability to work over the holidays, have created an overwhelming financial barrier, and we want to ensure that she can focus on healing without the added stress of financial burdens.
