Skip Hellen is a Lifetime Fathomier member and a mentor to many generations of spearfishermen. He has always been there to guide, teach, and inspire those around him, making a lasting impact on the community. Now, Skip is facing a serious health challenge and needs our support.

Recently, Skip suffered significant weight loss due to a chronic abdominal infection, which led to his hospitalization. He is currently in the hospital, receiving care and working to regain his strength. Once he is able to return home, Skip will begin the difficult process of rebuilding his body in preparation for an upcoming major surgery. This journey will require ongoing medical treatment, home care, and support from those who care about him.
