Help Barefoot Skinny Fight Cancer

Our beloved friend, family member, island icon, and musical soul — Barefoot Skinny (Tim Budd) — has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He was diagnosed with a tumor in each lung and 4 lesions on his brain. From Belize doctors, Skinny went to Mexico where more tests were run and then to the States where they did radiation treatment on 8 total lesions on the brain to release the pressure and fluid in his brain. After the biopsy test was done, the results showed he has stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Sadly, there is not much that can be done but time. He was first given 6 to 10 months but now was given 3-6 months.

Skinny is more than just a musician. For over 17 years, he’s volunteered as a high school music teacher, mentoring hundreds of young people and helping shape the next generation of artists and dreamers. Whether playing at the beach bars, sharing a song at sunset, or giving his time and heart to others, Skinny has always led with love, laughter, and music.

This diagnosis has brought an overwhelming emotional and financial burden. Funds raised will go directly toward:

• Urgent medical treatments and appointments

• Specialized care

• Daily support and home caregiving

• Nutritional needs and comfort during this difficult journey
