May 15 2025 Update:

He did great! I picked Skilo up around 6 pm tuesday and we've home and resting since. We've settled into our current routine of meds, rest and movement. I can already see his improvement from last week!

Thursday, May 8th,

a careless, speeding car ran over

Skilo the Dog.

Nothing funny about it;

his right front humerus is broken.

Due to the location and severity of his injury,

he needs surgery to heal.

As a responsible pet parent,

health costs are included in my monthly budget.

However, a recent on-the-job injury

has placed me at home, unable to work,

I have yet to receive back pay through workers' compensation.

I know times are tough.

I am asking y'all's for your help

and support through our time of crisis.
