This is Skiggy, she’s been apart of our family since she was around a year old. She’s around eight years old now. We rescued her from a neglectful owner, who would keep her inside of a kennel almost all day and night. We have been finically struggling.and we’re unable to pay for medicine for her eyes and skin condition. Skiggy developed glaucoma around a year ago it quickly progressed. We have been treating it with Dorzolamide and Hydrochlorid. And an anti-bacterial cream referred to by a vet. These two medicines did help treat her eyes for a period of time but it has now progressed to the point of her needing surgery. Her eyes have gotten to the point where they bulge out of her head. She cries and pulls away whenever we try to put the medicine in her eyes. in addition, she has Pruritus and frequently scratches at herself and causes bleeding. We usually have to have her wear a shirt to stop her from making herself bleed. We’re making this post to do Enucleation-eye removal, and buy her medication for her skin condition, and the medication post-op. We are desperate to mend Skiggy’s pain and help her feel comfortable and happy again. We would be incredibly thankful for any donations if anybody is willing to help us out.
