Support Siwaraya’s Recovery

Hello Loved Ones, Dear Friends, and New Acquaintances,

Help Siwaraya recover on her healing journey!

In March, an accident shattered Siwaraya’s knee into 6 pieces and multiple smaller fragments requiring intensive surgery. The health insurance company did not allow her to get surgery at the admitting ER facility. Instead, she was required to trek 379 miles by car for two days from the Bay Area to L.A. with broken bones for medical treatment.

Her surgeon states Siwaraya might be able to work after 6 months, but full recovery will take at least a year. The accident happened just as Siwaraya’s respiratory system recovered from toxic fumes resulting from the Los Angeles fires.

We would like to offer Siwaraya a bit more ease than when this year started. She’s moved 10 times for temporary housing since the initial fires. Her family does not live in the area. The funds raised would go towards rent, post-op care, food and other necessities while Siwaraya recovers.

It’s been a challenging year for Siwaraya, but she’s determined to get well and stay spunky. If you can support and/or signal boost this fundraiser, we would greatly appreciate the community care.
