Support Sissie’s Fight Against Cancer

Hello everyone, for those who may know me I’m Vicki, and Sissie and her family are dear friends and also like family to all of us.
I am starting this GoFundMe for Sissie in hopes to help ease her mind as she is battling one of the most unimaginable things. The horrible C word.
Before I begin her story, I would like to just say that Sis is literally an angel that everyone needs in their lives. She is one that is always there to lend a helping hand, gives you the love and support when you need it (even if she’s giving you her tough love. ❤️), her advice, her encouragement, and her heart. She is one that would literally give you her last dollar. She is one that would give up her own happiness just to see the people that she loves smile. Her heart is definitely pure gold. She is one of the greatest moms, Gigi, friend, coworker and everything in between. The moment I met her I knew she would have a big impact in my life, as she has on many people that know her.
Her family is her life. Her daughter Alexis and son in law Frank, her sons Chadd and Kyle, her daughter in laws Angel and Kayla, and all of her grandchildren is what she lives for. Like I said, she is one of the first to always help. Now as family, friends and a community; it is our time to help her.
Sissie became sick in November of 2024 with what she thought was pneumonia. After going to the doctor, they found a mass in her left lower lung. Unfortunately it was eventually confirmed cancer. She had her lung removed in March of 2025 in the left lower lobectomy. We were all so happy and jumping for joy that our Sis was good to go and rock on. She started radiation in July 2025 until August of 2025. It was one of the happiest calls and texts of our lives when the oncologist informed her that all of her tests came back clear in September of 2025. Sissie was ready to move past all of this and get moving on with life with her family and grandbabies especially. Then our worlds were all turned upside down again.
Sissie fell ill again in October 2025. She thought she had hurt her neck from coughing so hard. I worked with her a couple of times and you could tell she was in a lot of pain.
Sissie decided to go back to the ER. There, they ran more tests. The CT scan and Xray both showed a large mass on her C3 cervical spine. The doctors there advised her to follow up with her oncologist. The oncologist pet scan confirmed it was in fact cancer, and wanted her to have it biopsied. They were not comfortable with that type of procedure and recommended she had it done at a different hospital. November 2025 Sissie decided to seek further treatment at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. U of M not only confirmed the cancer in her C3, but now also in her lumbar spine L1&L2 as well as her upper right lung. At the end of November a biopsy was done and it is confirmed that it was the same lung cancer that metastasis.
The doctors say it is stage 4 and incurable and inoperable, but treatable with treatments. Early this month she has started radiation in hopes of some pain relief and will soon be starting chemotherapy.
Anyone that knows Sissie, knows that she is a hard worker and will work any day or time of the week that she can. Right now she is unable to work, drive, and even needs assistance getting in and out of bed. She will be traveling often from home for treatments and also need assistance with that.
With that being said, this is something I feel as a community we can do for her. We cannot take the pain from her and we cannot be sick with her as she is about to enter a very rough time in her life. But, what we can do is at least help take the financial burden off of her hands as she unexpectedly will be off of work for the unforeseen future and not to mention the medical bills that will come along with it.
Like I said before, she is the one that is there when everyone else needs her. Now it’s time for us to be there for her.
Thank you so much to everyone, please share with everyone you know. Please also continue to keep her and her family in your prayers.
I love you so much Sis! You’ve got this!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
