Meet Sirius — named after the brightest star in the night sky — a resilient, gentle community cat who has captured the hearts of many.

This past winter was especially hard on Sirius. As a community cat, he braved the cold and got into multiple fights, resulting in painful injuries that led to several urgent trips to veterinary care, which I covered out of pocket. In March, after one of these visits, he was prescribed medicated drops intended to help his eye. Tragically, the treatment made things worse, not better.

Despite our best efforts and follow-up visits, Sirius's condition has continued to decline. Now his eye must be removed to save him from constant pain and prevent further complications. He's still got so much love to give, but we can't help him through this without your support.

Sirius isn’t just a cat — he’s part of our neighborhood’s story. He’s been a friend, a comforting presence, and a silent guardian to many. Now, he needs us to come together for him.
