Hello everyone, my name is Jaleesa but many of you know me by Jae or "Tygerr".
When I was 15 I adopted a shih tzu chihuahua mix puppy and named her Siouxsie. (It's pronounced Suzie but the spelling is odd because it's a reference to musician I'm fond of whose band is called Siouxsie and the Banshees)
Siouxsie is 17 years now.
I've had her for over half my life and she got me through the toughest times of my life by just being there. She's been the best dog I will ever have the pleasure of being a part of my life and it's difficult to say goodbye but in recent years she has gone deaf, blind, and her smell is even slowly fading away.. she no longer has any quality of life and can barely move around due to her joints being stiff and in pain. I've made the decision to finally let her go with an at home euthanasia which is preferred by my mom who loved her just as dearly, and to honor her with a private cremation.
This is a costly decision I wasn't prepared for and any donations are greatly appreciated.
