Hi, I'm Farirai Manangazira — the creator and host of Simply Divine; a gospel talk show where music meets food, faith, and joy. We sit down with Christian artists and have honest conversations whilst we try and figure our surprise recipes. It's all about worship, laughter, testimony, and praise.
I created Simply Divine to celebrate the power of worship music, shine a light on talented artists, and explore the deeper stories behind the songs we love. It’s a space where Christian creativity is uplifted, where we test the extent of our cooking skills, and where every plate is served with a praise.
Our producers give us a bunch of ingredients and no recipe - we get to figure it out for ourselves whilst we get to know our guest even better.
The show so far
Thanks to your encouragement, prayers, and a small-but-mighty team, we’ve:
- Filmed 8 full episodes, interviewing incredible artists such as Sarah Téibo, Alia Lara and Peniel Tambama
- Hosted red carpet interviews at the UK's biggest Christian awards shows such as the Premier Gospel awards and the A Step Fwd awards
- Shared laughs, tears, songs, and testimonies — all without a big studio budget
But now… we’ve hit a wall.
Why I’m asking for help
Producing a season of Simply Divine takes more than just heart — it takes money. So far, the show has been fully self-funded, but that is no longer possible. We need funding to cover:
Equipment, crew, studio, and post-production for new episodes
A social media manager to grow the platform and keep the content flowing
Liability insurance to keep everyone safe and protected on set
Our baseline cost is £5000 for 6 episodes — anything raised beyond that will help us film more episodes, travel to more events, and expand the vision.
