Dear friends and family,

We are sad to say that cancer has struck our family again. In 2023, it was Vania; in 2024, it was me (Vera); and in 2025, our sister Simone was diagnosed. You can see each one of us in the video clip, with Vania ringing the bell, then me, and lastly Simone, her family, and family members who have been accompanying her to treatments. While Vania and I are now in remission, Simone is at the start of her fight.

Simone was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2025. Over the past few months, she has been quietly fighting this difficult disease. She will begin chemotherapy this month, March 2026. After completing six months of chemotherapy, she will undergo surgery, followed by any additional treatments that may be needed.

Simone is one of the kindest and most generous people we know. Her smile brightens up the room when she walks in, and her enthusiasm and love for life are contagious! We want her to be able to focus on her treatment rather than having to worry about how to make ends meet.

The funds raised will help cover medical expenses not covered by insurance, as well as living costs resulting from the loss of income.

We know that, with the way things are in the world right now, things are not easy for anyone. So, we thank you for wanting to help in any way you can, whether through sharing this fundraiser, donating, or praying for Simone and her family. Alone, we may not be able to do much, but together we can do anything!

Querida familia e amigos

É com tristeza que informamos que o câncer voltou a atingir nossa família. Em 2023 foi a Vania, em 2024 fui eu (Vera) e, em 2025, nossa irmã Simone recebeu o diagnóstico. No vídeo clip, vocês podem ver cada uma de nós: primeiro a Vania tocando o sininho, depois eu, e por último a Simone, sua familia, e os familiares que tem acompanhado os exames do seu tratamento. Enquanto eu e a Vania estamos agora em remissão, Simone está apenas começando sua luta.

Simone foi diagnosticada com câncer de mama em outubro de 2025. Nos últimos meses, ela tem lutado silenciosamente contra essa doença difícil. Ela começará a quimioterapia neste mês, março de 2026. Após concluir seis meses de quimioterapia, ela passará por cirurgia, seguida de quaisquer outros tratamentos que forem necessários.

Simone é uma das pessoas mais queridas e generosas que conhecemos. Seu sorriso ilumina qualquer ambiente, e seu amor pela vida é contagiante. Queremos que ela possa focar no tratamento, sem se preocupar com as contas.
