Thank you in advance for reading our story. My name is Justin Schein and my father, Simon Schein, has recently been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. After noticing a growing nodule on his neck, he spent many months at various doctor’s appointments trying to seek answers. Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that he does have a form of cancer that has metastasized throughout his throat. He will have to go through some aggressive treatments including radiation and chemotherapy, and this has put an undue financial burden on our family. Though it is going to be a long journey, we are trying to remain hopeful. During this difficult time, we do not want him to have to stress or worry about funding his treatment. He's not just my father—he's a devoted husband, a proud grandpa, and the heart of our family.
