Hi everyone. My name is Simon Monsivais. I am reaching out for help because I have been in and out of the hospital multiple weeks at a time since before Mother’s Day. I had been battling an internal infection that was dormant within my LVAD-assisted pump device. Finally, after having multiple washouts, the doctors decided it was best to have a major surgery due to the infection being life threatening. I had life saving open heart surgery on 10/3/24 to fully remove the device before the infection reached my heart. I am still in the hospital & expected to recover.

But times are tough, and I need a little support till I’m back up on my feet. My family and I have reached the lowest of lows. Anything helps and would be greatly appreciated to assist with medical bills, parking fees and medicine that I will further need to progress and keep this heart healthy.
