Help Support Simon “DJ Kilo Vybez” Moore on His Road to Recovery

On July 23rd, our beloved brother, friend, special education teacher, and favorite DJ, Simon “DJ Kilo Vybez” Moore, was admitted to the hospital after a few days increasing weakness, loss of appetite, and a diagnosis of Strep Throat. Since then, he has been diagnosed with sepsis, respiratory failure, and a perforated duodenal ulcer. He has undergone 2 surgeries, one of which was major abdominal surgery and has been fighting hard every single day in the ICU.

If you know Simon, you know his spirit is as big as his beats—always bringing people together, making us laugh, and reminding us that no matter how tough life gets, there’s always a reason to smile. Now, he needs our strength, love, and support to keep going. Due to the tragic recent loss of his mother and taking time to heal, he is not qualified for FMLA from his new job, therefore he is on leave without pay.

Once Simon is healed enough, his journey will continue at a rehabilitation hospital. During this time, he will have to recondition his body to learn how to walk again. The road ahead is long, but with faith, love, and community, we believe he will make it home stronger than ever.

We are asking for family, friends, and everyone whose life has been touched by Simon to come together and help support him during this difficult time. Funds raised will go directly toward covering his expenses for the next four months as he focuses entirely on recovery.
