My name is John Robertson. I was Simon Andriesz’s representative, adviser and friend, and I worked closely with him over a significant period of time

Simon Andriesz was a devoted father, a much-loved friend and someone who showed extraordinary courage in standing up for what he believed was right.

Following Simon’s tragic death, those of us who knew and cared about him want to make sure that something positive and lasting is created for the son he leaves behind.

We have established this fundraiser to support his son’s education, welfare and future opportunities.

Every penny raised through this fundraiser is for Simon’s son. None of the organisers will receive or personally benefit from any of the money raised.

A dedicated trust is currently being established for his benefit. Once the banking arrangements are completed, the funds raised through this campaign will be transferred into that dedicated account.

Our hope is that the people whose lives Simon touched, including friends, colleagues, supporters and those who have come to know his story, might contribute whatever they can.

Nothing can replace what Simon’s son has lost. This fund is simply intended to help protect his future and to show him that the people who stood alongside his father have not forgotten him.
