Two weeks ago, in the evening of October 1st, thieves broke into our home in Simi Valley. They caused some property damage and took off with a considerable amount of our more valuable belongings. Sadly, neither of us have insurance for a case like this and the police have been unable to track down the robbers.

While it is disappointing to see the evil of this world, we are reminder yet again that we must not "store up treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and thieves break in and steal" (Matthew 6:19) but rather set our hope fully on our imperishable and undefiled inheritance in glory (1 Peter 1).

While we are grateful for this opportunity to trust in God and to learn to be content in whatever circumstances, several of you have reached out and asked if there is any way that you could support us - and we are grateful for that as well.

Please pray with us that the robbers would be apprehended but, more importantly, that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We also wanted to create this fundraiser for those of you who would like to help us with covering some of our losses. Any small amount helps.
