Hello! My name is David Miranda Grinstein, and today I am reaching out with the hope of helping my mother, Silvina Grinstein, who is 62 years old and means the world to me.

My mother lives in Venezuela and is currently facing a difficult health condition following a severe complication: a colostomy due to sigmoid colectomy for a perforated diverticulum. She urgently needs a follow-up surgery to restore her intestinal function, a crucial procedure that will help relieve her persistent pain, chronic bloating, and difficulty in digesting. These symptoms impact every area of her life—her work, social life, and day-to-day activities—and have forced her to limit her diet, resulting in significant weight loss and nutritional challenges.

For nearly 40 years, my mother has dedicated her life as a psychologist working with vulnerable children, teens, and families in schools and state-run shelters. She has helped countless kids facing abandonment, abuse, and other hardships, and her greatest wish is to keep serving the community she loves. She truly lives for her work, helping others with dedication, compassion, and care.

But now, she is the one who needs help to undergo this surgery that would allow her to regain her health and improve her quality of life. The cost of the procedure, including hospitalization, surgery, medical supplies, and postoperative care, amounts to $4,500. Unfortunately, in Venezuela, accessing quality medical care is an immense challenge, even for professionals like her. Despite all her years of service, obtaining the resources necessary for a safe, effective surgery without putting her life at risk is nearly impossible.

I did everything I could to support her first surgery, but I no longer have the resources to fund this essential procedure. This is why I am turning to you, appealing to your compassion and generosity. Any contribution, no matter how small, would bring us one step closer to securing this life-changing surgery in a place that can guarantee her the best possible care.

Hola ! Mi nombre es David Miranda Grinstein y hoy me presento ante Uds aquí , con la gran esperanza de poder ayudar a mi mamá , Silvina Grinstein , de 62 años de edad, a quien amo muchísimo.

Ella vive en Venezuela y presenta actualmente una COLOSTOMIA POR COLECTOMIA DE SIGMOIDES POR DIVERTÍCULO PERFORADO, por lo cual requiere realizarse una nueva intervención quirúrgica de Restitución de Transito Intestinal.

Está situación que está padeciendo actualmente es grave para ella pues le ocasiones dolores de colon frecuentes , gases y dificultades de evacuación pues no la puede realizar analmente. Esto le está afectando en su desempeño laboral , social y de la vida cotidiana.

Mantiene una dieta reducida, pues en este momento hay muchos alimentos que no está tolerando y esto ha originado una gran baja de peso y dificultad en su nutrición .

Ella es psicóloga y labora con niños, adolescentes y su grupo familiar en una escuela y en una casa Abrigo del Estado.Lleva 39 años ayudando a niños en situación de abandono , maltrato , condiciones especiales y a familias disfuncionales y es su anhelo continuar haciendolo por muchos años más,con amor, mística de trabajo y responsabilidad. Le encanta sus empleos , pues le permiten ayudar a muchas personas. Y ahora es ella quien necesita de nuestra ayuda, para poder realizarse la cirugía que necesita lo cual le permitirá reestablecer su salud y tener una mejor calidad de vida.

El monto que se requiere para la misma es de $4500 , el cual cubriría los gastos de hospitalización, cirugía, insumos y medicinas también para su post operatorio . Ya que en Venezuela , lamentablemente es difícil , aún siendo una profesional , acceder a una atención médica de calidad que garantice los insumos y la intervención quirúrgica requerida para una operación exitosa , sin poner en riesgo la vida del paciente.

Yo pude con mucho esfuerzo , ayudarla en su primera operación pero ya no cuento con los recursos económicos para ésta.

Es por esto que recurro a su sensibilidad social - humana y generosidad , para ayudarla con la contribución que Uds puedan donar,a qué esa cirugía sea posible y exitosa en un lugar donde le garantice la misma.
