Support Silke's Battle Against Cancer

Hi Friends,

Many of you know that Silke had breast cancer twice while living in Paris. Unfortunately, it has returned and metastasized to her brain, lungs, and spine.

She is blessed with good healthcare coverage and housing, but has not worked for more than a month and will run out of funds shortly. She may be a candidate for SSI Disability, but that process is just starting and it may take a while for her to access that funding, if she even qualifies.

Most immediately and because she cannot work any longer, she needs funding for basic everyday expenses, such as food, household supplies, cell phone service, Lyft rides, and uncovered medical expenses.

Silke has been a shining light in the world for many of us. She has lived a modest and exuberant life, practicing joy and sharing her delight as she goes. If you have monetary funds to spare, now is the time.
