Dear friends, family, and kind supporters,
Our hearts are heavy as we share that Sierra , my sister-in-law, has been diagnosed with colon cancer. At just 47 years old, this news has shaken our entire family, but Sierra is facing it with incredible strength and determination.
The diagnosis came as a complete shock. Sierra had been experiencing some pain that led to an emergency room visit. The E.R quickly rushed her to surgery and the stress on her body triggered the need for daily dialysis. She is already showing her fighting spirit, surrounded by love from her Mother and significant other and family from afar.
Cancer treatment brings not only physical and emotional challenges but also a heavy financial burden. Even with insurance, the costs add up quickly—deductibles, copays, medications, travel to appointments, lost wages from time off work, and everyday living expenses while she focuses on healing. Our goal is to ease this stress so Sierra can concentrate fully on her recovery and spending precious time with her loved ones, without worrying about bills piling up.
How the funds will be used:
• Medical bills, treatments, and medications not fully covered by insurance
• Transportation and lodging for appointments
• Household support and daily needs during treatment
• Any unexpected expenses that arise during this journey
We are aiming to raise $40,000 to provide meaningful relief. Every single donation—no matter the size—makes a real difference and reminds Sierra that she is not fighting alone. If you can’t donate right now, please consider sharing this page with your network. Your prayers, positive thoughts, and words of encouragement mean the world too.
Sierra has always been there for others with a helping hand and a warm smile. Now it’s our turn to rally around her. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity, love, and support as we walk through this together. We will post regular updates on her progress so you can see the impact of your kindness.
With deep gratitude,
Sam Griffith
