I'm reaching out on behalf of my daughter Sierra, her husband, and their 11-year-old stepdaughter who visits on weekends and during school breaks. They are a hardworking, loving family doing their best to make ends meet—but right now, they need our help.

This past June, their home was hit hard by the devastating floods that swept through Pittsburgh. Their basement filled with nearly 18 inches of water, causing extensive damage and long-term issues. You may have seen the coverage on the news:

Since then, things have only gotten harder. Their furnace—already on its last legs—has now completely failed. With winter approaching, they’re facing the terrifying reality of not having heat in their home.

Despite working full-time jobs, Sierra and her husband’s dual income barely covers their day-to-day expenses. They recently had to downgrade their vehicle just to avoid losing their home. There’s simply nothing left to cover the cost of a new furnace, which could run anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000.

We’re asking for your help to raise enough to replace their furnace and ensure their home is safe and warm this winter. Every dollar helps, and every share brings us closer to our goal.
