Support for Sierrah’s Vet School Dream
Donation protected
My name is Sierrah Robinson, and ever since I could remember, I’ve loved animals and wanted to be a veterinarian. My path to my dreams and goals has been non-traditional. In January 2023, I decided to step out boldly in faith, quitting my job to pursue my dreams. I went back to school to complete the necessary prerequisites needed for the vet school of my choice, Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, in St. Kitts. Many ask why so far? Why this school? RUSVM is an accredited accelerated DVM program, they offer school on campus for my 9-year-old son, which was huge because I often told myself there’s no way I can go to vet school because I have a child I have to provide for, and I’ve worked alongside so many amazing Veterinarians that completed their degree at RUSVM.
On my path to Vet School, I earned my AAS degree in December 2023 and my BIS at UNCP in June 2024, receiving two degrees within a year and a half. Applying to Ross and finally getting an opportunity to make my dreams come true. God awakened the desires of my heart and my obedience to his word and my calling has not returned void. It’s the crazy faith I hope to inspire others to have, never give up on your dreams and it’s truly never too late! God’s timing is perfect, Always!
Becoming a veterinarian is not just about accomplishing my dream goals, it’s truly my passion and purpose in life. I have been working in the Veterinary field for over 10 years, spending a great deal of that time in veterinary ER medicine. As a veterinarian, I plan to work with exotic/wildlife animals, provide quality veterinary care and education to rural communities and hopefully give back to the world through conservation efforts and research!
All funds donated will go directly towards my educational expenses. As many may know, Veterinary Medical School is competitive and rigorous, and working is not allowed. $28,000 is a rough estimate given to me by the school for the first semester cost, which is not accounting for children and pets.
My son is so excited for this opportunity and we will be bringing our dog Monroe with us. I’m a firm believer that where God guides, he will provide! There’s no amount too small and we need and appreciate the prayers and support in any and all capacities!
Future Doc Sierrah Robinson, DVM 2028 is finally on the way
Thank you all in advance and God bless
