No one asks to be abused, physically, mentally, or emotionally, and TODAY the SILENCE will be broken ⛓️ For years, I've watched a man control and beat my 1st cousin. I've always wanted to butt in, but I can't choose who she loves. When things were good, they were good. When times are bad, they are REALLY BAD. And this time, things have gone too far. Seeing her incarcerated and the abuser free doesn't sit well with me. She was only defending herself, like any normal human would do. THIS IS SOMEONE'S MOTHER, DAUGHTER, COUSIN, FRIEND. She is loved, and just because men pay for certain things in life doesn't mean you have to submit to anything. So, I'm here today as a victim of domestic violence myself, standing up for my 1st cousin, asking to please bring her back home to her kids if nothing else.
