hey guys my name is Sierra and im a server at Mcgillings, working long shifts and relying on tips to survive. Recently, i experienced a sudden emergency while working my Sunday night shift. Sharp pains in the lower abdomen quickly escalated, and after a night of severe vomiting and cramping. The next day my mom decided that this isn’t normal and took me to the hospital. Doctors diagnosed appendicitis and rushed Sierra into surgery to prevent a dangerous rupture. I was so nervous and scared.

Now I’m home facing strict bed rest for several days and needing a cane to walk, because even standing up straight hurts like hell. simple movements are painful, and lifting anything over five pounds is out of the question. I have no health insurance and I’m unable to work for at least two to three weeks, I’m just worried about covering rent and basic bills for next month. I’m not asking for anything crazy. But just the uncertainty of missing work and the stress of mounting expenses have made this time especially difficult.

Im not one to ask for help, but this situation has made it necessary and to put any pride aside.
