Support Siena's Recovery and medical needs

Donation protected
Hello friends. Update on 6/3/2024

Today we have learned that Siena’s road to recovery will likely be at least 6 months. This is all very dependent on how she responds to the condition of her Diffuse Axonal Injury. While we were encouraged with the news of her stroke prognosis yesterday, it appears that this DAI injury could be the one of the bigger obstacles for her to overcome. Until she wakes up, we won’t really know much more on what that will look like. Thank you so much for the continued support for her continued and unknown financial needs moving forward. For more up to date info, please refer to her Caring Bridge site.

Our beautiful Siena was involved in a horrible car accident this past Saturday May 25th. The weather that evening was pretty bad with heavy heavy rains . She was in her truck getting into the west bound lane coming out of Glenwood Springs when she hydroplaned and lost control of the truck, rolling four times until she was ejected out of the vehicle landing on the eastbound lane across the median. We are very grateful for the person that got out of her car to stop traffic and give her first aid. She was taken into Vally View Hospital unresponsive. She was stabilized but in critical condition, not knowing if she was going to make it. She was then transported by ambulance to Grand Junction because the weather was to bad to airlift her to Denver, where she received her initial care, including a rod in her broken left femur. After that surgery and having a stroke she was airlifted to UC Health Anschutz in Denver. She is still in critical condition and we are hoping minute by minute that she gets better. Siena is not only the sweetest girl you would ever meet, but she is truly a one of a kind young woman. There’s not a person that has met her that would tell you any different. She is only 17 years old and has a long life ahead of her! And did we mention that she is a heck of a hockey player?! We (friends and family) are setting this Gofund me to help this beautiful family with all their medical and logistics expenses. This is a family that has been a light to our community, always giving their best to everyone. We ask you from the bottom of our hearts that you give in anyway that you can to help relieve their financial burden. And assist with Siena’s unknown future needs. Please consider giving in any amount you can, every penny helps! And if you can’t give at this time, your prayers are very welcome. Thank you again and may God bless you.
