My name is Anissa. I am reaching out to you on behalf of my Dad, Sid. My Dad was recently diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma on his tongue and throat. I'm arranging this GoFundMe for him to help cover his expenses while he goes through cancer treatment. He has an intense treatment plan of 35 rounds of radiation and 7 rounds of chemotherapy. His first treatment was on June 26th. The next 7 weeks will be intense with treatment followed by a period of much needed recovery. Due to the locations of the cancer, along with the amount of time required to attend appointments over the next couple of months he will be unable to work much if at all during the process. In addition, his work relies heavily on verbal communication which will be increasingly challenging during the treatment and recovery period.

My Dad has a miserable road ahead of him and any help that you can provide is greatly appreciated and will help him worry less about finances so he can focus his energy on fighting and healing.
