Support Sidra Powell's Post-Accident Recovery

Hello! My name is Sidra Powell and on the morning of January 6th, 2024, I was involved in a horrific and fiery car accident that almost cost me and another passenger's lives. We were on a journey from Atlanta to Miami to continue a new semester of education after winter break when a suspected "new" tire, bought and serviced from Walmart 3 days prior to the accident, unexpectedly exploded and spun my vehicle out of control, hitting a guard rail and catching on fire.

I was severely injured, suffering from brain bleeding and a fractured back, while my other passenger walked away with minor injuries. We contacted Walmart regarding the injuries and malfunction of the faulty tire that they sold us, however, they dismissed us and our case because we had no evidence to provide them with because the receipts and files we had were burned along with the car. All of my belongings were burned and the vehicle was determined unfixable.
