On the evening of September 29th, Sidney Hanel was goofing around in the kitchen when she took an awkward fall and didn't feel good internally for the next 24 hours. After a couple of trips to urgent care, she was sent to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital for further testing where it was determined that Sid had a stage 4 laceration of her spleen and was bleeding internally. Thankfully, they were able to stop the bleeding without surgery, but there are still medical costs, and it is going to be a long road to recovery, which will include missed time from work for Stacy.

As anyone who has met her knows, Sid is one of the sweetest girls around and a real light in this world. This is going to be a tough recovery for a girl who is always on the go, but we know she has a huge community around her that is there for her.
