Support Siblings in Crisis: Help Us Stay Afloat

Hello, my little brother (18) and I (24) need your help.

Over the past three months, my brother, mother and I have been situating ourselves into a new home on our own and have struggled to keep our ship afloat.

Three weeks ago, our mother who has made the environment far more tense than it needs to be has mixed herself with another man over the phone and gambled over 10k worth of our emergency savings in exchange for double the amount. My brother and I both caught onto the scam, and despite our warnings, she opted to not believe in what we said in hopes that she could get her hands on the money she desperately desired.

Three hours ago, the scammer left her and she is now left with the searing weight that she has gambled all our money away and is making further irrational decisions.

My brother and I have been struggling to get work, but lately our luck is shining through with applications being accepted. I cannot drive, nor can he. Our mother, as of now, is our only reliable source of income and transportation. She has proven herself time and time again incapable. This was the last straw.

I want to help my brother and I survive in this environment, and gain enough money to pay off rent for the next few months while we try to build income from our new jobs.
