Help me to receive biological doses outside Gaza

I am Baraa Hemaid, 24 years old, I was diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis on July 29, 2023. I will attach all my medical and doctors’ reports.

I began the treatment journey and did not feel any improvement from the medical medications, so the doctors resorted to biological doses, and I took the first dose on September 29, 2023. My health improved and I began to return to my activity before the illness.

The second dose of biological treatment was scheduled to be given in October 2023, but due to the war everything stopped and none of the necessary biological doses entered Gaza.

Then the doctors asked me to fill out a referral form for treatment abroad, but so far my name has not appeared on any list and I am now on a waiting list. I don't know when my turn will come.

Now, unfortunately, my health condition began to deteriorate due to not taking the biological doses, so I decided to create a fundraising campaign so that I could go out for treatment myself and take the biological dose.

I want you to help me leave Gaza for treatment abroad, as the cost of coordinating entry through the Egyptian Rafah crossing

is about 5 thousand dollars per person.

The price of one biological dose is about $3,000, and Every two weeks I need a biological dose in addition to a customized diet.

We do not have this amount in addition to hospital expenses, housing, medicines and food.

I am supposed to follow a healthy diet of food and water, but now I eat anything and my health condition has deteriorated greatly, due to not following the health regime related to my illness.

The donations that you will make to me will be for travel costs and the costs of my treatment of medicines and biological doses, in addition to the costs of housing, food, and hospital costs.

The detailed plan for the funds will be as follows:

-Periodic follow-up with a doctor who specializes in treating chronic/internal diseases. I need $300-$350 per month.

-If I need to stay overnight in the hospital, the expenses per night are approximately $200 to $400.

- I need to rent an apartment to live in for about $400 to $500.

- Monthly expenses with companions are about $1000.
