Support Sianne and Dan

Hi all, my name is Maureen. I am a colleague and friend of Sianne and Dan Martin. I have begun this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for this family who are having hardship due to Sianne’s cancer diagnosis. It occurred to me that many people are feeling like they don’t know how to support this family, well this is something.

Sianne is a nurse, who has been helping to care for people all of her life, and now she needs your help as she fights for hers. She is a wife to Dan and mother to 3 children. Currently, Dan is off of work on stress leave to be at Sianne’s side and support their 3 children. Not only is this a stress on their mental health, but worries about finances only increase the stress.

Within the last 4 weeks, Sianne has been diagnosed with breast cancer, a tumor on her spine, and lesions on her bones. She has required 2 surgeries to date to shore up her hips in the hopes that she has some mobility. She has also undergone radiation and is now suffering the side effects from that. Chemotherapy is being considered. Sianne is in a lot of pain and her only wish is to spend some time at home with her family this Christmas.  The cancer is stage 4.
