On Tuesday night, our dear Sianna was involved in a serious car accident while driving back to LSU. Sasha and Chase rushed to be by her side in Shreveport, where she is currently in the Trauma Care Unit. By the grace of God, Sisi did not break a single bone; her organs are functioning well, and her blood pressure remains strong. Although she was wearing her seatbelt, the airbag did not deploy, resulting in severe fractures to her face. Today, Friday, February 20th, Sisi will undergo an extensive all-day surgery involving multiple specialists. This will be the first of many surgeries to help reconstruct her face and airways. We have faith that God has already determined a powerful testimony and outcome for her healing. Sisi is receiving exceptional care at LSU Health, surrounded by people who deeply care for her. The Chief of Staff met with Sasha and Chase personally to reassure them that she is in the best hands. The outpouring of support from the LSU community—including Deans, Presidents, the Athletics Director, trainers and of course her coach, and many others who love her—has been overwhelming, and they are ensuring that Sisi receives the very best care. While we are grateful for the medical attention and for seeing God's hand in every detail, the journey ahead will be challenging both emotionally and financially. They will need help to cover medical expenses, rehabilitation, and the other costs that will arise as Sasha and Chase support their baby throughout her healing process. Please consider contributing to Sisi’s extensive recovery. Your support, whether through donations or prayers, means the world to us all. Thank you for standing with us during this journey. The Marriers need your support now more than ever. Together, we are believing for complete healing and restoration for this angel.
