We’re reaching out on behalf of Shula Kleinerman, a cherished violin teacher recently diagnosed with cancer, and her partner Scott Smith. As she begins treatment, we want to support her the way she has supported so many - with heart and dedication.

Shula has guided her students with care, helping them grow not just as musicians but as people. And no one should have to bear mounting medical costs alone.

We’ve created this GoFundMe as a community of her students’ families to help cover treatment and recovery expenses. While this is started by a group of her students' families, the campaign is open to everyone who wants to show support. Any contribution - no matter the amount - helps Shula and Scott focus on healing.
