Shrimp’n Aint' Eazy Family,

Thank you for reaching out during this time. I apologize that I’ve been delayed in connecting back with everyone, but this incident has required more than expected. On Friday February 6th there was an unsuspected propane leak inside of our trailer, which lead to a severe explosion inside of the trailer. At the time of the incident, our entire team was inside the trailer working, thankfully the incident was contained and nobody else was injured.

My priority is the safety of our Team which included myself, my daughter, my cousin, and our Chef Mazi. Since then we understand we are lucky. We are taking each day at a time as our focus is to heal the second degree burns to our legs. Healing is our priority, as that is the commitment to our families. To ensure that this type of accident does not reoccur, we have inspected our propane lines and the leak has been fixed and addressed. Safety is a priority.

In terms of business, we are on a reset. What that means and how that looks is yet to be seen, as that is something I have to reconfigure given where I am today.

Thank you for reaching out, and asking what we need to get us through. Primarily, the need in medical costs as the care for our type of burns is extensive. Also, there are business losses following the incident and operational costs that need to be financially fulfilled. Overall, Shrimp'n Ain't Eazy will be closed indefinitely, which has a huge financial impact on the overall business.

Inclusively, maintaining Shrimp’n Ain't Eazy while we are healing is a factor in how we can reset once we are healthy enough to get back to all of our community of Supporters. Thank you for the Blessings, your words have been an inspiration to continue.
