On the night of Friday, April 10th around 11:30 PM, our family’s world changed in an instant. Shoua Yang, just 43 years old, suffered a sudden brain hemorrhage and stroke after collapsing. He was rushed to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, Florida, where he has now been in the ICU for several days fighting for his life. What started as a normal evening quickly turned into a medical emergency no one could have prepared for. Shoua is currently under intensive care as doctors work to reduce swelling in his brain and stabilize his condition. These early days are critical, and while there have been small signs of progress, he still has a long and uncertain road ahead. By the grace of God, Shoua is awake and showing signs of strength—he’s been able to speak, eat, and even move parts of his body during therapy—but he continues to face weakness on his left side and ongoing challenges from the stroke. Shoua is a loving husband to his wife Kelly and a deeply cherished member of our family. Anyone who knows him knows his heart, his strength, and how much he means to those around him. This has been emotionally overwhelming and financially devastating. The funds raised will go toward: • ICU and hospital medical expenses • Ongoing treatments and medications • Physical therapy and rehabilitation • Supporting Kelly during this time as she stays by his side We are asking for your prayers first and foremost. And if you feel called to give, any amount—no matter how small—will make a real difference for Shoua and Kelly during this incredibly difficult time. Please also consider sharing this fundraiser to help us reach more people. We truly believe in the power of prayer, community, and faith. Thank you for standing with our family. This fundraiser is being organized by Matthew Stromberg (brother-in-law) on behalf of Shoua and Kelly Yang.
