Help My Family Rebuild After Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica
Hello everyone,
My name is shonoya Edwards I'm Kingston jamaica currently living in the US, i am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. Some of my family members have been deeply afftected by Hurricane Melissa, which struck Jamaica recently and left a trail of devastation across several parishes on the island including including st. James, Trelawny , st. Mary, st. Thomas , Clarendon, st. Elizabeth, and hanova. The place we call home.
The Hurricane severely damaged our family and friends homes, leaving them without electricity, running water and very little food. Roofs were torn away ,walls collapsed, and many if not all their belongings were destroyed. Some of nieces and nephews are still unaccounted for as we try to contact relatives scattered across the islands.
they are doing everything they can to stay safe, but this situation is overwhelming. My family urgently need help with food, clothing, and funds to repair and rebuild their homes. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards helping my family recover from this disaster.
If you are able to give , please know that your support means the world to us . Even if you can't donate, sharing this campaign will help spread the word and bring them closer to getting back on their feet.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, prayers, and generosity during this incredible difficult times.
With gratitude and hope,
Shonoya Edwards
and family
