In the wake of the devastating Eaton Fire that has affected so many in our California community, we are reminded of the strength and resilience that unites us. Mrs. Shirley Preston is a dedicated wife, mother, loving grandmother, and a devoted woman of God. After more than 29 years of service in law enforcement, she continues to dedicate her life to helping and serving others.

On January 8, 2025, the Preston family endured a double loss—tragically losing not only their family home but also the home of Mrs. Preston's elderly father-in-law, whom she lovingly cared for. While the pain and devastation they are facing is unimaginable, Mrs. Preston remains steadfast. When speaking with her, she calmly shared, “I’m stepping out on faith.”

Her courage and unwavering belief in brighter days ahead is a testament to her strength. In this time of need, we stand together to support her and the Preston family as they work to rebuild their lives from the ashes.
