Shirley Maddox, mother, teacher, and beloved friend to many, was recently diagnosed with cancer. 

Shirley is truly a light to everyone who knows her. Her love for all around her shines in her gentleness, encouragement, humor, and compassion. Her face beams when she talks about her five sons and daughters. It positively glows when she gets the chance to tell you about her brand new grand babies. One only needs to see her in the classroom for a few minutes to see what an inspiration she is to all of her second grade students at Crestview Elementary as their faces light up with new understanding. 

The news of her diagnosis hit all who love her hard, but Shirley has been a rock of quiet determination and positivity. Her faith in God's good plan for her is unshakable despite the many obstacles ahead. 

Please join us in helping encourage and support Shirley as she enters treatment in Arizona this June to fight this disease. Unfortunately her treatment is not covered by insurance. Any monetary donations you can give are truly appreciated and will go to defer the cost of her treatment.
